The Giving Tree Committee would like to extend a
great big “Thank You ~ Thank You!” to all those
who participated in the Giving Tree project this
year.
We understand how hard it was this year because
of the economy. Again, you have stepped up to the
plate and made so many children happy. If you
could have seen the eyes and faces of the
children
when Santa gave them their gifts, you would have
experienced a strong tug at your heart.
Once again, you have responded to Christ’s
invitation
“to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to
brighten the lives of children.”

Christmas nears, you are asked to make a special effort
to remember the 2009 Bishop’s Annual Appeal.

Are you interested in helping a child get a Catholic
education?
Do you wish you could change things during these times
when raising children has become more difficult and challenging?
Do you want to influence our youth by having them
experience a place where they learn about GOD and can pray in their classrooms
while getting an incredible education at the same time?
There are many young students who wish to attend St Mary-St Peter Catholic
Academy, but, unfortunately, their families cannot afford the added expense of
tuition. With your participation in the "Adopt a Student Program"
these dreams can become a reality!
Perhaps you are an Alumni of St Mary of Mount Virgin or St Peter's school
yourself and would like to give back what you received when you attended our
parish school...or maybe you just want to help our youth live up to their full
potential...Whatever the reason ~ we need your help!\
When you "Adopt a Student", you pledge to make a contribution of $1000
towards their tuition for the present school year. It's that simple and
you can choose to either pay it in one payment or throughout the 10 month school
year. All gifts will be used to exclusively help these children.
This is the gift that keeps on giving for a lifetime and would be so very much
appreciated by these families. Our youth are our future....You can make a
difference now to ensure that future.
These generous donations are accepted any time during the year!
If, after prayerful consideration, you are willing to make this tremendous
sacrifice and help our young ones, just contact Father bob at the Parish Office
so arrangements can be made.
