THE RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
Good News!
Classes start soon for anyone who has received all three sacraments - baptism, communion, and confirmation and would like to learn more about Catholicism as well as anyone who would like to convert to the Catholic faith!
Classes begin this September 2010 to be held Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30PM - Registration forms and more information can be acquired by calling the Parish Office 732- 545-5090.
The Catholic church is the oldest Christian Church in the world. At times all of the church's religious observances can be overwhelming - DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM EXPLORING BECOMING A CATHOLIC!
To those of us who were born Catholic, being Catholic means being a part of a long and magnificent history of devotion to God through Jesus Christ. Step into St Mary of Mount Virgin Church one time and you will discover faith transformed into works of Art to pay worship to Our Lord. The Catholic Church is a family - the family of Jesus Christ! We welcome you to explore the wealth of information and links we provide on this site. Know someone who would like to learn more about the Catholic Church? Direct them to our site. Ready to take the next step?
A SPECIAL NOTE
Our beloved Sr Giacinta Basile is currently battling with her body's insistence that she is older! Please keep her in your daily prayers. In her absence Sister Carmela DeMauro, MPF, is our new mother superior and will be welcoming all interested persons to RCIA on Wednesdays at 7 PM at the Convent on Sanford Street. Be sure to welcome Sr. Carmela when you get the chance and offer any assistance you can!
Sr.Carmela DeMauro provides religious guidance to those who will guide those interested in becoming Catholics as well as those who seek to join the Catholic Church. Click this link to contact Sister about joining the RCIA program
