MEMORIAL DAY 2010

Not just this Memorial Day But all Year Long, Let us remember and contemplate those who live for the rest of their lives with the memories of war - war that conflicts with everything we believe - but war that we must engage in because others pretend values but represent the side that for centuries chooses to claim God made a mistake in favoring those He favors
Here's to all of our brave Fathers, Brothers, and Sons who still believe in fighting to preserve the obvious truth!

It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is
the
VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the
VETERAN
who
salutes the Flag,

It is
the

VETERAN
who serves
under the Flag,

HEAVENLY FATHER WE ASK THROUGH THE GRACE OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST THAT YOU GRANT THAT THOSE MEN WHO DIED FOR THE FREEDOMS WE ENJOY FIND THEIR EFFORTS PERPETUALLY NOT IN VAIN, FOR YOUR GLORY, AND THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN

  CATHOLIC VETERANS OF WAR

Our Veterans make a sacrifice for the sake of others - "No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends" John 15:13.  We are grateful for those whose lives are spared and returned to us.  We are humbled by those, in spite of permanent disability, continue to love and serve the community.

We urge everyone to lend support to our brave Veterans in any way needed whether it be financial or spiritual - these men are men of Christ and deserve our unconditional support.
