ST MARY OF MOUNT VIRGIN CHURCH CHOIR
THE ST MARY OF MOUNT VIRGIN CHURCH CHOIR IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR ENTIRE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE. LED BY SONIA CERGNUL, THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH CHOIR PROVIDES THE IRREPLACEABLE MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT THAT HAS BEEN A PART OF THE CATHOLIC MASS FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS. Diocesan Festival Choir T he Diocesan Festival Choir invites high school and adult singers to join us at the Cathedral of St Francis in Metuchen for a March 7 performance of the Requiem by John Rutter accompanied by chamber orchestras. Thisconcert is in remembrance of deceased priests of the Diocese of Metuchen. Singers may register for the choir through Lisa Andrade at 732-562-1990 x1634. An Audition or recommendation from your parish Director of Music will be needed.

Katherine Waidelich, a parishioner and member of our choir family, was nominated by the North Brunswick Township High School Guidance Department as the "Elk Student of the Month.” She was recognized on November 18 at the Board of Education meeting; Gail DiPane presented the award for academics, leadership, commitment to service in school and community, and an active member of school clubs and athletics. She will also be inducted into the National Honor Society in December. Congratulations, Katherine!!!
Allison Snediker, a life-long parishioner and member of our choir family, has completed a tour of Tibet and the plight of those gentle, faith-filled people. Allison has given a lecture at FIT of New York City, and is returning to Tibet to complete work on her first book. Congratulations, Alli!
Kyle Price, a senior at Ramapo College, created quite the uproar when he came in as the top runner in the Men’s Race of the NJAC Competition. Thanks to Kyle , TCNJ lost the lion’s hold on the Individual Honors for a time of 26:21 for 8 km! Kyle is the first non-TCNJ runner to win the conference meet in 14yrs! You are fantastic!!!!
