SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE Separation of Church and State - was established by our founding Fathers as the right to practice religion and for the state to have no authority in establishing a state religion. The more recent definition of separation of Church and State has been devised to establish a rather skewed interpretation of "death" and associated penalties, as a religious "concept", rather than a civil matter, and as we know, in so doing, it has enabled the culture of death to rise in power. As we make vows for the New Year, let this be the year that awareness of wrong is no longer enough and that we will fight the misrepresentation of our values and return the law of the land to conformance with the laws of God.
