Scholarship News!!

The Sister Geraldine Calabrese Scholarship is open to a St. Mary OMV / St Theresa Parishioner

who:

• Attends a Catholic High School or

• Attends a Catholic College or

• One who intends to attend a Catholic High

School or a Catholic College in September

Rules to obtain this Scholarship:

• Student must be an active member of St

Mary / St Theresa Parish

• Student must already attend or will attend a

Catholic High School in September 2010

• Student must already attend or will attend a

Catholic College in September 2010

• Applicant must write an essay (100 words) which should express “Why I Want To

Attend a Catholic High School or a Catholic College.”

• Essay must be submitted to:

• Essay must be received by June 4, 2010 Applications are available on the table in the vestibule

Your child's Catholic roots are dependent in part upon their attendance at some type of religious instruction. Prep classes are for children born to Catholic parents and baptized in the Catholic Faith. Classes are available for children of school age from first to eighth grades.

We welcome participation by parents in this program in any way in which they can provide significant and persistent support. The four links above are provided to assist you in registering your child as well as increase your understanding about the way in which PREP is conducted. If you have any further questions you can contact the parish office or drop us a line at prep@stmaryofmountvirginchurch.org.

Please note you will need to provide proof of your child's baptism, communion, and/or confirmation - whichever applies.

Minimal Requirements are not the goal of Prep, however each link for each grade above will provide you with information in regard to where your child's level of religious knowledge should be for a given age. Again if you have any questions contact us, we want to help you succeed in preparing your child for a full Catholic lifestyle.
