Worship of the Mass is an integral part of Catholic Life. We encourage everyone to attend Mass as often as possible and preferably as a family. The Bells of St Mary of Mount Virgin still ring out every Sunday to remind all of our parishioners that the Catholic Church, is Mother Church, the body of Christ, and the means by which we can maintain solidarity in these troubled times. Through example we teach to our children that family unity begins with the Mass, with faith in God, and that our best friends ought to be those who share in our spiritual beliefs and well-being.
Parish Registration – Do it today!
We receive many requests for sponsor certificates
as well as letters of recommendation and character
references. Help us to help you by registering at
the Parish Office. For those of you who are 21
years or older, please register individually. If
you are registered “under your parents,” only your
parents are eligible for sponsorship. As a rule,
if you do not have an envelope number, and/or have
not used your envelopes for longer than a year,
you may not be listed as an active registered parishioner … even if you received
the sacraments here as a child … or were married here. If you were married here
and wish to remain parishioners, you must register as a new family immediately
after the marriage has taken place. PLEASE: Do not assume you are registered. If
you do not receive envelopes, you are not registered.
